You don't need to wait for anyone to PM you for the story. You can take action right away and get results:
1) Contact your ISP and explain the situation to them. They will issue you a new IP address.
2) Contact your local law enforcement agency and file a police report. DDoS attacks are ILLEGAL in many countries. From there the police will work with your ISP and MS to locate and take action against the offender.
3) On your console via the FILE A COMPLAINT tool, file a complaint for system tampering/cheating.
Now the offender has two punishments coming, one from MS when they permanently ban his account from XBL and one from law enforcement when they arrest him/her for breaking the law.
