have to restart router everytime i use live

everytime i go to use live, to play COD BO2 i have to unplug my router and wait 30 seconds and so on..... this is not always feasible when my wife is using the internet for schooling and i cannot just unplug her connection as well. HELP before i throw my system. included is the information that should be helpful

Hey,sry to hear the problems your having.Lets try a few things..1st look over this > support.xbox.com/.../browse

Look over and see if you cant find help in there

Also try to directly plug your internet directly to yuor 360 and see how that works to rule out its your 360..If it works with no problem then your 360 isnt the problem..

You can also try to a hard reset on your router,modem..In the back of yuor modem there should be a little button.Push it in for 30sec,till it shuts down and restarts.Then when its up and running try playing live.

try going here and setting the NAT the way it suggest, had the same problem till i did this

support.xbox.com/.../nat-type-strict

I have the same problem. The online Xbox diagnostic suggests A) Reset your router or B) Plug in to the xbox. The problem is that A) I don't want to reset it EVERYTIME and B)  There's no place to plug the xbox in to the router, other devices are taking up the space.

It's been roughly since the last update this has happened.

I'm now having this same problem 5 years later on my Xbox one, I have to unplug and replug my router back in just to play for the day.
