So my old thread got obliterated, but the problem remains. On my personal network, my Xbox disconnects at random times for no reason. It could be a few minutes, sometimes it's gone hours before disconnecting.
My setup:
Verizon Westell 6100G modem
Netgear WGR614
Xbox 360 S 250 GB
Things I tried:
Power cycling modem/router
Returning modem to standard mode (was in bridge mode). This closed my NAT and did not resolve the issue.
Swapped to a different network. The Xbox has had no issues with this one.
UPnP is enabled. There are no forwarded ports (I had NAT issues before that port forwarding did not solve).
Parent's network:
Verizon Westell 6100
LanPro 5-port Ethernet hub
Ideas? Why would my Xbox suddenly find issue with a network it's been on for about a year, and have no issue with another network?
