Error 1606. Could not access network location %APPDATA%\

I typed the error code in the search line and I went to support.microsoft.com/kb/886549, printed off the resolution and followed them. When I tried to delete the value name like it instructions said but I get another error message "unable to delete all specified values." Is there another way I can delete the value? If not what are some other options that are available? I also cannot download any pdf files or access Office home and student 2007. I get the same error message.

Answer
Hello kfranklin,

Thank you for posting your question to the Microsoft Answers Forum.

Right click on the values that you can't delete and click "Permissions".

Make sure your user group (or you) have Full Control. It could be administrator or
another account that has administrative privileges.

Then try again and see if you can delete the values.

If this doesn't help, then give a more detailed description of what you are trying to delete and why.
This will give us a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish and how we may help you better.

We look forward to your response.

Thank you.
