How can I fix error code 0x80310000 for windows 10 mobile update?

I am using an unlocked Microsoft Lumia 950 Dual SIM. Every time I try to get the "Microsoft Update for Windows Phone-Windows 10 Mobile 10.0.14393.67 (The Anniversary Update), the phone downloads the update, but cannot install it. I get error code 0x80310000. How can I fix this so that the install takes place?

Hi guys,

try to turn off device encryption if you have it turned on. It helped for me. It seems that when the update is going to be installed (gears screen/bootloader) it can't read encrypted data. I have tried to switch downloads to SD cards (which is not encrypted) but it seems updates are always downloaded to the device and it did not helped. Turning off device encryption did. Does Microsoft read these forums at all ?
