Hello Long,
We would like to know more about the issue you're experiencing with starting the Computer Browser service. Kindly verify the following information:
- What are you trying to execute on your PC that requires running the Computer Browser service?
- When do you get the error message about the service cannot be started?
- What is the OS Build of your Windows 10 PC?
- Can you send us your PC's System Information?
System Information (msinfo32.exe) contains your system information, such as devices that are installed in your PC, drivers loaded, and it provides a menu for displaying the associated system topic. You can export your PC's information on a text file and have it uploaded on OneDrive. This information is essential in order to isolate your concern.
- Click the Start button.
- Type System Information and then press Enter.
- Select File > Export.
- Name the file and then click Save to export the information.
- Upload the file to OneDrive Web.
- Share the file using the Get a link option.
- Post back with the link.
To isolate the issue, we advise performing a clean boot. A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This procedure eliminates software conflicts when you run a program in Windows 10. Follow the steps from this article on how to perform a clean boot.
NOTE: Please go to the section: Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting to boot the PC in normal startup after fixing the issue.
We'll be waiting for the results.
