Hi
I have tried all methods and it makes no difference. Originally It was genuine windows 7 on my pc then i did an online upgrade to windows 8 which did an update to 8.1 pro and its been fine until this latest update . I can't do a windows refresh as it is asking for files off the windows 8 disc which i don't have as it was an online upgrade direct from windows site.
Any help appreciated

Windows automatic update has tried multiple times since 24 April to install update KB2919355 on my Windows 8.1 x64-based system and failed each time mainly with error code 0x80073712. I have tried various DISM routines but Restore Health fails to do anything showing error 0x80240021. I have downloaded and run the "clearcompressionflag.exe" file available since 6May. I have also followed the advice from various online blogs involving remove packages and tried to install the update manually without success. On some manual update attempts the error codes have been 800F0902 and 0x80240021.
I would welcome any suggestions from Microsoft.Report abuse
