I have the same problem after installation of Minecraft 1.2 - "minecraft program was closed/crashed after few second i start the program. It only shows Mohjong welcome screen."

I have got Russian version of windows 10 (version 1703 15063.632).

I had installed last drivers  for my graphics card AMD Radeon HD 8500/8600/8700 from 22-sep-2017 from amd site, but it not resolved my problem.

We appreciate you providing us those result.

To address these error messages you've received after running the Windows Apps Troubleshooter, here are some questions we'd like to know for the isolation of your concern:

  • What were the recent changes made before this happened on your game?
  • Do you have administrator rights on your PC?
  • Is your Microsoft account connected to your user account?

Let's reset your Windows Store to further troubleshoot your concern.

  1. Open your File Explorer, then click Local Disk (C:) under This PC.
  2. Open the Windows folder, then the System32 folder.
  3. Type wsreset in the search bar found at the upper-right part of the window.
  4. Click the WSReset app to reset your Windows Store without changing any of your settings or installed applications.

If the issue persists, you may follow these additional steps for troubleshooting your Store cache.

  1. From the File Explorer, click the View tab.
  2. Check the Hidden items box from the Show/hide field.
  3. Type this to the File Explorer address bar, but make sure that you replace <username> with your account name:
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState
  4. Check if the cache folder is there. If yes, rename it to "cache.old", then create another "cache" folder. If the folder is not there, just create a new "cache" folder.
  5. Reboot your PC.
  6. Run the Windows Apps troubleshooter again.
  7. Reboot your PC again.

Let us know the result.

I’ve got the same problem, crash after Mohjong welcome screen … no message.

Current Minecraft version 1.2.3.6,  and with an exception code 0xC0000005 in the dump files (%LocalAppData%\CrashDumps).

In my case I found out that the problem is an error on initializing DirectX (other games are also affected).

If I use the integrated graphics-device it works. But not for the other preferred graphics-device (high performance processor).

Uninstalling drivers and replacing them with older ones didn’t help.

A few months ago these (old) drivers and games worked on both graphics-processors.
