I have the same problem after installation of Minecraft 1.2 - "minecraft program was closed/crashed after few second i start the program. It only shows Mohjong welcome screen."

I have got Russian version of windows 10 (version 1703 15063.632).

I had installed last drivers  for my graphics card AMD Radeon HD 8500/8600/8700 from 22-sep-2017 from amd site, but it not resolved my problem.

Let's reset your Windows Store to further troubleshoot your concern.

I’ve got the same problem, crash after Mohjong welcome screen … no message.

Current Minecraft version 1.2.3.6,  and with an exception code 0xC0000005 in the dump files (%LocalAppData%\CrashDumps).

In my case I found out that the problem is an error on initializing DirectX (other games are also affected).

If I use the integrated graphics-device it works. But not for the other preferred graphics-device (high performance processor).

Uninstalling drivers and replacing them with older ones didn’t help.

A few months ago these (old) drivers and games worked on both graphics-processors.
