Windows game bar isnt recording correctly

Ive been using the "record the last 30 seconds" feature for a couple years now. But since like two weeks ago all my clips have audio problems. The Audio Track seems to be from like 5 to 15 seconds late... So the first 10 seconds of the 30 second clip have no audio and the rest isnt synced...

Dear customer.

Thanks for choosing Microsoft Community.

In your description, I understand that you are having recording issues with the Game Bar.

I do understand the frustration and chagrin of not being able to use the Game Bar properly at this time.

You can refer to the following steps to fix or reset the Game Bar

1 Right-click on the Start button and select Settings

2 Click System>System components

3 Find Game Bar, click on the ... icon on the right side and select Advanced Options

4 Try clicking on the Repair and Reset buttons in the Reset section to see if it restores the Game Bar.

If the problem still exists, you can refer to the following steps to uninstall and reinstall Game Bar

1 Search for Windows PowerShell in the taskbar, right-click on it, and select Run as administrator.

2Type in the following commands and press the Enter key

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | Remove-AppxPackage

3 Then open the Microsoft Store, search for Xbox Game Bar, download and reinstall Xbox Game Bar through the Microsoft Store to see if you have the same problem.

If the Game Bar is still not working properly, to rule out the possibility of an account profile error, please create a new local administrator account by referring to the following link

Manage user accounts in Windows - Microsoft Support

Check to see if you have the same problem in the new local account.

If the Game Bar still has the error, please refer to the link below for an in-place upgrade.

Disclaimer: Lets try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides:

Please try the above options and let me know the results and I will provide you further assistance based on your results.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
