The Lock Screen picture or slideshow is controlled in Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen. If you want the spectacular Windows Spotlight slideshow pictures, choose that.
You can reset the theme by setting a new Theme from Settings > Personalization > Themes or from the many spectacular free Themes you can download from the Store to that Themes panel to choose from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/collectio...
To get color back on the task bar, start menu and window frames after Version 1903 turned the Light theme dull grey follow this guide:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
To get the spectacular scenic backgrounds back on the Lock screen when the PC first starts up, go into Settings > Personalization > Lock Screen and set the drop down menu to Windows Spotlight.
If you want the Fun Facts you can hover the mouse over on the Lock Screen or click to go to info pages about the scenes, change dropdown temporarilty to Picture, tick the box to Get fun facts, then change it back to Windows Spotlight.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to choose if I solved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

So we're all on the same page, here is the topic for this question:
Feature: Windows 10 Login Screen
Description: The nice picturesque screen, showing system time, following a system boot up. Clicking anywhere causes the screen to blur and presents the user with the last login, with alternate logins stacked on the lower left side. The last users avatar and username is displayed in the center, with the words "sign-in" below it. Clicking on this presents the user with a textbox to enter their password. The Windows Lock Screen (if set) will look the same, and have the same functionality.
I have 2 systems that were upgraded to 20H2 (from 2004). Both are using the Microsoft Account sign-in feature, so both are linked to my Microsoft Account. For context purposes, we'll call these SYS A and SYS B.
SYS A has my daughters set-up (via the Family feature in Windows) so they can log in and use this system. They also sign-in using their Microsoft Accounts. They are both Administrators, and the system has a single monitor (in case it matters).
SYS B is my personal system, and only has my Microsoft Account setup for use (it also has a local account for me just in case I need to sign in locally, not using Microsoft). Both accounts are Administrators, and this system has 3 monitors (in case it matters).
Both systems had the upgrade to 20H2. SYS A was able to do the upgrade via Windows Update, however SYS B was upgraded manually after downloading the update from the Windows Update Catalog (due to a persistent update error when using Windows Update).
Both updates when fine. SYS A took approx 5 minutes (after reboots, etc) while SYS B took almost 30 (after reboots, etc).
After the updates, SYS A saw no noticable changes to the Windows Login Screen. SYS B on the other hand now displays the "Microsoft Account" popup sign-in window when the "sign-in" on the login screen is clicked. Prior to the update, it showed the textbox to enter the account password directly on the login screen (just like SYS A still does).
Here is the progression of the login on SYS B following the 20H2 update now:
Bootup
Any key or click to login
Click the "Sign-In" to sign in
Then
Annoying, right? Enter password and click "Log In"
Then, finally
For SYS B, this is extremely annoying!! Having 3 monitors, there is a lot of screen flickering (with a blue background showing up) before the popup is displayed, and more of the same flickering after the password is entered and the popup closes. When the desktop is shown, it now takes a second to arrange the screens and set scaling (didn't do that before the update). Another reason this is very annoying (besides messing with my ZEN) is that I have my screen saver to require authentication on resume. Before the update, I just entered my password on the lock screen. Now, that same popup appears (again with the annoying screen flickering). Also, when the desktop appears, startup items that were QUIT in the system tray (after initial login) reappear, as if the startup sequence was reran.
A clue may be in the mode display, in the upper left corner of the screen during the "Just a Moment..." screen. This only occurs when the monitor changes modes (scan freq, etc.) or input type. Not sure what's going on here, but the monitor is directly affected during this as well.
Also, Microsoft Edge is now "Built-In" to Windows, as is included in the 20H2 update (according to the "What's New" page). I use Chrome, and it's set as my DEFAULT browser. Could this matter now? Does the login for 20H2 use the Edge browser API now? Thinking out loud here....
Is there a setting somewhere that will put things back the way they were on login screen (like SYS A)? Why did the 20H2 update change this?

Not sure why you didn't include that in this post, you now have two posts for the same issue.
Edge has always been part of Windows 10 from 2015. I guess you are referring to Chromium Edge.
Although it shows a Microsoft account you are using a Google account, do you normally use this to sign-in to Windows 10.
Looking at Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options what are the settings under Restart apps, Privacy, Use my sign-in info.?

You can also roll it back in Repair Mode accessed by one of these methods:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanc...
Then I'd wait for it to mature by blocking it using this method:
https://www.howtogeek.com/223864/how-to-uninsta...
For this update because of the problems I would also do it manually by running the latest media over Windows, as shown in these steps for Overcoming Version Upgrade Failures: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.

As stated, everything was working fine until after the the update. So yes, I have always used a gmail email address to log into my Microsoft account. You can use any email address you like, because from a Microsoft Account perspective, it's just a unique username that points to a Microsoft Account. It doesn't mean it USES that account (such as an API call or anything).
And yes, I was talking about Chromium Edge. As for posting again, I was having issues trying to EDIT my existing post when I decided to give more detail... not a huge issue, as I'm sure Microsoft (or Akamai) has the available drive space in their data center (UPDATE: The moderator merged the posting and is included above).
I'm sure nothing you've responded with provides any type of solution to my issue, so I'm not sure why you replied. Unless you're simply trying to stir the pot here. If that's the case, you should cruise Stackoverflow. They love doing that stuff over there.
If that's not the case, then thanks for your assistance.

It appears the 20H2 Version Upgrade has malfunctioned. I would roll it back in Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Go back to old version.

I was thinking that, but then it means that my update (regarding 20H2 and KB4586876 (2021-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10, version 20H2 for x64) will go back to failing in Windows update.
I would really hate to do a fresh install. I have a lot of applications that I use in my work, and it would take quite the effort to locate them all again. I have Macrium backups done on the 7th of December (last month), but using that as a last resort (but is still favored over a fresh install).
Do you foresee any issues with rolling back to the previous version? I know you don't have a crystal ball, but passing on any undocumented lessons, you've learned the hard way, while "rolling back" would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help, Greg!
