So I recently updated my Windows, to Windows 10. Everything was going great until a day or two ago, my icons on the taskbar are disappearing or invisible, for example, I had pinned Microsoft Edge to the task bar, the space of where the icon should be is
there. Although, the image of the program, isn't. Upon selecting and opening up Edge, on the task bar the blank space appears to be selected. But the Icon is still invisible. This is happening for the Windows 10 Icons. I would really love to know what is going
on and if there is a way I can fix it...
On the Search bar type “cmd”. Right Click on the Command Prompt option and select Run as Administrator. (If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow).
Type “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” (Without quotes).
Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
Please get back to us with the results of the issue in regards with task bar icons and any other questions you might have regarding Windows operating systems.
We are happy to assist.

Guru Kiran
