My wifi keeps connecting and disconnecting at will and at random times

Since I've performed a clean installation of Windows 10 in my Acer Laptop I am  experiencing problems with the wifi. Sometimes I spend hours surfing the web with no problem and suddenly Windows are disconnecting from wifi, then they may reconnect maybe not. I switch the wifi off and then back on and the wifi may continue working for another 3 or 4 hours but maybe not. I've tried many different driver updates for my "Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter" but nothing fixed the problem that pops completely at random. I've searched many forums but nothing solved my problem. I'm sure that my modem is working properly because all smart devices are connecting with no issues and another laptop with Windows 10 as well.

Apart from that, the laptop before the format had no problems with the wifi. I would appreciate it if you could help me!

Try to repair your internet connection.

Click Start and type "cmd".

- Right click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
- Copy and paste the following line one at a time, pressing enter each time:

- netsh winsock reset - and press Enter.
- netsh int ip reset - and press Enter.
- ipconfig / release - and press Enter.
- ipconfig / renew - and press Enter.
- ipconfig / flushdns - and press Enter

You can also try to reset your DNS service with the following steps:

- Press the Windows key + R and type "services.msc" and press OK.
- Scroll down to find the DNS client.
- Right click on it and click Restart.

You can also follow these steps: from the Start menu or by pressing the Win + I key combination, open the Settings and click on the Network and Internet option. Thank you for your help I performed your solution with the cmd commands and I hope that it will work. However, I can't restart the DNS client because as you can see in the picture Windows don't let me press the restart option.

Hello again!

I am still experiencing problems with the wi-fi. I've tried installing all drivers for Windows 8.1 that Acer suggests in it's site but nothing worked as it sould. The Windows 10 driver can't be installed for some reason in my computer. I've tried all of your solutions one by one but nothing worked. As I said in my previous post, I cannot restart the DNS client. I am waiting your response!
