My Toshiba laptop wont boot even in safe mode after re-installing win7 and installing automatic updates

someone please help me i got a virus the other day on my toshiba laptop and when i wiped it and re-installed windows it worked fine as soon as i turned on automatic updates it downloaded 100+ critical updates when i shut my computer down it got stuck on update number 29 and i had to force shut it down now it wont even boot in safe mode (gets hung on drivers\classpnp.sys) and when i try to reboot using the home premium install disk it gets stuck on a black screen after "loading windows files"......someone please help me but try to keep it relatively simple as i know some things but terribly advanced

What do you see, if you start the computer in safe mode?

 

I would suggest you to try these methods and check the issue status.

 

Method 1:

Remove the all external devices, if there in device connected to your laptop, restart the laptop and check the issue status.

 

Method 2:

Start the computer in Last Known Good Configuration.

Method 3:

Perform system restore using Windows recovery and check the issue status. Refer To open the System Recovery Options menu using the Windows 7 installation disc or a USB flash drive, or a system repair disc section from the following link.
