Korg driver for vox guitar amp

I am using windows 10 on my PC & I have a Vox guitar amplifier vt20x . It has a USB connector for using Tone room  soft wear  by Korg  with my Guitar, The Driver which Is down loaded  will not make a connection & recognise the amplifier no matter which USB port I use.  can anyone help with this problem ??. I have down loaded all updates for the Korg Drivers &  Vox Tone room softwear , but still wont work. Apparently I need to assign a new value to the USB port I plug into. I dont know what that means let alone know how to do this. Will it help if I change my PC to operate on Windows 8 ???   or Has anyone else had this problem & how did you Fix it or is there no way of fixing this. Any kind of help would be much appreciated .  Thanks
Hi Paul,
I am very sorry for the trouble caused by the issue. One thing I would like to know is if this is a recent issue or is this the first time you are trying out the amplifier?

Hi . Thanks for replying.  

This is the first time trying the amp, not sure why this has happened , but I have found what seems to be the way to fix this however it is very complicated & seems a little bit hard for a non tech like me. here is the site where i found the answer if you are interested & possibly you could tell me a easier way to achieve this solution.

Thank you for the link Paul and from it it seems that registers edits are the only way for now. It is a bit complicated for sure but I can provide step by step instructions if you would like to go through?
