How do I get windows up date to start working? Windows 11.

Can not get past version 21H2. would like to try Windows Update Assistant but it seems to be only for windows 10?

Windows update page shows ' you're up to date'. the next line show ' your device is missing important updates'.

For Windows 11 24H2, you have the Installation Assistant tool:

However, before using that tool, please refresh the Windows 11 24H2 eligibility assessment using Task Scheduler.

Launch Task Scheduler.

 

Go to:

 

Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > Application Experience.

 

Right-click on the Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser task and then select Enabled.

 

Right-click on the Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser task and then select Run. It takes a few minutes to complete.

 

After the task completes execution, restart Windows and check for updates. Let me know if WU offers the latest feature update.

Note:

 

Refreshing the assessment using the Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser task has an advantage. We can determine if there is a safeguard hold for the device, and if so, we can rectify the software incompatibilities and then upgrade via WU, Installation Assistant, or the ISO. Bypassing the safeguard holds (if any) using the installation assistant or the ISO is usually not recommended,
