I was stuck in the blue screen loop so i had to use a bootable usb to get back my laptop. Now i have a windows version from 2022 but the problem is that it wont connect to the internet or detect any wifi. Also, the laptop is supposed to be touchscreen but even during the process of installing windows, the touchscreen was not working or even the cursor pad on the laptop. I was only able to control it and make it work once i connected a wired mouse as a bluetooth mouse did not work. I never had to connect an ethernet or anything to my laptop so i dont think i would have to do it now plus it would be kinda odd to do that to a laptop. Does anybody know how to help?

Hi, Dan
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
We understand that you are experiencing a problem of not being able to use your system properly after using USB to access your system, and I noticed that you are having a blue screen problem.
We need the dump file to analyze the cause of your blue screen and give further solution. Please follow the steps below to setup and get the dump file:
Go to C:\Windows\Minidump to find the blue screen log file.
If you can't find the dump file, you can set it up like this:
Press Windows key + S and type Control in the search bar to find and open "Control Panel" > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Startup and Failure Recovery > Settings, write debugging information and select "Small Memory Dump". Confirm and restart your computer.
After setup, next time if you get a blue screen again, go to the default path location C:\Windows\Minidump where you can find the blue screen log file.
Please send me a private message and I will analyze the cause of the blue screen for you.
You can refer to the steps below to send a private message:
You can send private message through the Messages link at the top right of the page.
Check your sent PM by going to My Profile, and then selecting View private messages on the left pane of your profile page.
And regarding your question, it has to do with your drivers, it is recommended that you can use another device to download your device drivers (touchpad and USB drivers) and subsequently use a USB flash drive to port the drivers to your current system.
Also, are you currently able to access the USB flash drive or the system in your computer? If you are able to access the USB flash drive system, please use Media Creation Tools to repair the installation system directly, which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without deleting files or applications. However, if the computer contains important data, we still recommend backing it up in advance.
Choose to upgrade this computer immediately and choose to keep the files and applications.
Disclaimer: Let’s try performing an in-place install or in-place upgrade which will refresh your Windows files and operating system without removing files or applications. That being said, we always recommend that if you have important data, you should back it up before making large system changes. If you want to back up your data first, please do so. Once you are done backing up, you can follow the steps in the following guides:
You are welcome to contact us anytime if there is any progress.
Best Regards
