how do i stay permanently logged in to Outlook

I want to stay permanently logged in to my outlook e-mail account.  I do not want to have to sign in four or five times a day.
If it just started happening it is probably one of the new security changes.  After all if you kept your user name and password in all the time anyone could use it.

Part of the upcoming change in service include some increased security measures to cut down on the frequency and ease of hacking.

If it has been doing this all along try this.

With all these changes, we felt that it was time to give the sign-in experience a facelift. We streamlined the sign-in page to prioritize one account per device, and simplified the two check boxes into one “keep me signed in” check box. Once you check “Keep me signed in” we’ll keep you signed in with your Windows Live ID until you explicitly sign out. This also has the nice benefit of giving you a much faster page load time, so that getting to your inbox or whatever service you are using is now much faster.

KEEP ME SIGNED IN STEPS

Please check the feature keep me signed in, if it's enabled on your computer. Once you check “Keep me signed in” you'll be kept signed in with your Windows Live ID until you explicitly sign out. This also has the nice benefit

of giving you a much faster page load time, so that getting to your inbox or whatever service you are using is now much faster. On how to, refer to the steps below:

1.        Visit https://live.com.

2.        Click sign in located on the upper right of the screen.

3.        Windows Live sign in page will appear,

4.        Tick the box for "Keep me signed in".

I have checked the "keep me signed in" button and I repeatedly get logged out of hotmail.  In addition, within the last month, everytime I go to hotmail.com on my iphone, I am logged out and have to log back in.  Very frustrating and worth changing accounts.  Any help to stay logged in on computer and iphone.  "Keep me logged in" button isn't working.

Hi themillers4213,

If you do not want to put in your username and password every time, you have to check the "Keep me signed-in" box before signing-in. When you need to get out of your email, do not click on sign-out and just close the whole browser instead. That way, you will not be prompted to sign-in every time you go to your email account.

Please perform these steps too:

1. On your windows bar, type "Internet Options"

2. Internet properties window will prompt you. UNCHECK the "Delete browsing History on Exit" box

3. Click on "OK"

Thank you,
Christian

Christian if you look at my original post you will see that I do check the keep me signed in box but it signs me out on my laptop and my iPhone safari every time. Telling me to check the box isn't helpful.

On my iPhone I keep checking the keep me signed in box but still have to log on repeatedly throughout day. What else can I do?  I am not signing out.
