You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com

Original title: Unable to log in my email account under Outlook.com or Office 365

 

I am a NTU student currently studying BIE Year 2. I attempted to log in to my NTU email account: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** using the correct password under this website (www.hotmail.com) , yet it has an error message saying:

 

This account can't be used to access Outlook.com
You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

 

Given that I always managed to log in my email account under hotmail.com, this is the first time I have encountered this error message. I have attempted to log in from two different PCs, one is my personal desktop and the other is at NTU Computer room but still shown the same error message.

So I tried to go to Office 365 to log in but to no avail. I have attempted to change password too but it does not help as well.

 

Can I know how to solve this problem? Or, can I know if there is any hotline or any ways that I can seek help with this problem? Please help thanks!

If you received an error: You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com, please be informed that we are aware of this issue and our Product Group is currently working to fix this concern.
