Verify your account

I am constantly been asked to verify my account, with a number I have no further access to. I have update, changed phone number and password but cannot SEND email till I verify account. How can I get verification code, if it won't recognise my phone number.

Appreciate response but does not help. Totally different phone number UK, of which I don't have. I've changed number in acct and it still ask for a UK number and when change to CAD, it says invalid. If I could speak to MS and explain, it could be resolved in minutes!!

Reach, it took code, opened Outlook and as before, verify account with a UK pops up.
