Unable to reset Windows Hello PIN

Hi,

I forgot my Windows Hello PIN.

I tried to reset but this is what I get on my Settings page (see attached screenshot)

I clicked on link: "Sorry this PIN isn't working...." and it comes up with the dialog box - merry-go-round and I can't see where to reset my Hello PIN

Hi Ayeo,

There are two methods for you to choose to modify your pin

Method 1: Modify the PIN on the login interface

1. On the login interface, select the login option and select PIN.

2. Click I forgot my PIN under the input box. On the page for entering the password, enter the Microsoft account password and click Next.

Note If you have also forgotten your password, you can click Forgot Password below the input box to reset the password.

3. On the information protection page, choose to receive the verification code via SMS or email. If you choose SMS, please enter the last four digits of the phone number, and then click Next.

4. After receiving the verification code sent by SMS or email, enter the corresponding verification code, click Next, and click Continue to set a new PIN.

Method 2: Change PIN in settings


1. Open the settings interface, select the account, and select the login option.

2. Under the PIN, click Change, and then reset the new PIN.
