Hi R_6583,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Microsoft Community Forum.

We understand that you’re having concerns getting back to your account, as it says that it’s currently blocked. Let’s work on this together and find out ways to sort this out.

Based on the information provided, it seems like you’ve filled out the Account Recovery form since you’ve already tried supplying the necessary information that you know to pass the validation. Can you confirm this, please?

We’d want to extend our helping hand to check for the available options that we can recommend. We’d like to ask these options:

1. Can you try and see the exact message that you’ll get when you sign in to your account using this link: https://login.live.com/? You may share a screenshot if possible and please make sure to hide or delete the personal information that may be included.

2. Do you still have access to the security information linked to the account, such as a phone number or an alternate email address?

3. Were you directed to fill out the recovery form right away without other options provided?

We’ll wait for your answer, and we’ll provide you with recommendations afterward.

Thanks for providing that screenshot.

Based on the image, it seems like you’re still able to proceed to sign into your account and it’s requiring you for some verification due to the unusual activity that was detected.

Since you no longer have any access to the security information associated with the account, we’ll try to check the option to change and add your updated security information, so you’ll be able to use it to verify your account. This is one of the ways that we can recommend aside from the recovery form that you’ve already attempted to fill out. Please follow these:

1. Sign in here: https://account.live.com/proofs/MarkLost

2. Select "I don't have any of these", then select "Next".

3. Enter any of your active phone number or email address, click "Next" and follow the prompts.

Please be reminded that when we update the security information of an account, it will take 30 days to be replaced. This process assures that you can still access your account after the waiting period.

For reference here's the link that contains further information about the reason why the replacement of security information will take 30 days.

Rest assured that once it has already reached the 30-day waiting period, then you should be able to access the account again using the newly added security information.

If you have any clarifications on this, please let us know.

Thanks for your response.

If you’re now being prompted that the new security information that you’ve added will take effect after 30-days, then you should be able to access your account after that time period and use the newly recovery detail to verify your account. By then, it should be good to go.

Let us know if you may have other questions.
