New Outlook Aug 2023 version - able to receive emails, but unable to send

Choose the option to switch to NEW Outlook released in August 2023. Everything works fine except unable to send emails. Only way to send emails is to switch back off the NEW Outlook option.

I changed nothing when the New Outlook opened up after a restart. I previously reverted to Legacy Outlook, because of problems accessing Contacts.

I receive emails, simply cannot send.

How can I find out what my Outgoing Server should be?

I am trying this new version, but... first thing I DON'T see, is exactly that:

the Send/Receive button is missing.

I have looked in the help section, nothing.

Parameters: nothing

There is no info as to what is new regarding this, and no info as to how it should work.

Is this a BETA version?

I feel like this is an unfinished version...

hello,

The new version of outlook is not available on my pc. How can I get it?

Kindly note that NEW OUTLOOK bottom is not available when I sign in to the old version.

well, I know that you need to be updated before you can see it - it was my case.

After the update, I was seeing this:

However, and by seeing all the problems people are having with the new version, I will wait until the mess is resolved.

(PS: the picture shows where the button is, and to activte the new version, the button needs to be pushed to the right. Once you did that, the program will shut and reload in the new version. But beware, as some users were not able to revert to the classic/old version. )
