Dear Turki S,
Welcome to Microsoft community!
I understand that you may have received a ransom email from “yourself”, and they try to threaten you with your personal information.
I know you may be anxious, please don't worry, this is the hacker's little trick; In fact, they won't have more personal information about you, they just use this method to scare you to transfer money to them quickly.
Therefore, I suggest you use the following methods to protect your account:
1, Change a separate and strong login password immediately.
2, Turn on 2-factor authentication login: How to use two-step verification with your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support.
3, Add as much security information as possible, at least 3 or more, the purpose of doing so is to make it easier to retrieve your account in the future.
Please understand that, like any other regular Microsoft user, I have no more access to check your account directly, but if you follow the above methods to increase your account security, you will not be bothered by this problem anymore!
I hope these steps will help you. Please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Best regards,
Harris-MSFT |Microsoft Community support specialist
