Microsoft account requires JavaScript to sign in.

This morning, when turning on my pc, I noticed a message that I suppose I hadn't noticed before. This message says, "Microsoft account requires JavaScript to sign in. This web browser either does not support JavaScript or scripts are being blocked. To find out whether your browser supports JavaScripts, or to allow scripts, see the browser's online help. That is where I am headed when I have a moment.

Thank you for your response. I will post where this takes me, for anyone interested, who might run into the same issue.

I understand that you have concern about your computer wherein you are seeing a pop up message that says "Microsoft account requires JavaScript to sign in. This web browser either does not support JavaScript or scripts are being blocked...". Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

  • Can you please provide us a photo or screenshot of the exact message that pops up on your computer?

  • What specific email account you are using? Just provide us the domain if it is on @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com or something else?

  • What was your last activity on your computer before this problem started?

  • What is the default browser on your computer?
