Dear Jonathan Figel,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

Understand that you need to cancel the security message replacement, but have not received a problem code.

While we understand this 30-day period might be frustrating, this is done to protect and alert you in case the security info was removed by someone who had unauthorized access to your account.

Let me ask a few questions:

Is your email sending the verification code to the spam folder?

Check the spam folder for emails from Microsoft accounts with the code sent to you. Valid verification codes come from the @accountprotection.microsoft.com email address.

Mark @accountprotection.microsoft.com as a trusted sender to receive the verification code in your Inbox.

Did you enter the correct e-mail address?

To protect the security of your information when you log in, we only show you the first two characters of your e-mail address.

You can also try to change the network or browser to try to get the code again.

I hope the above information can help you.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,

Yes I did all of it and it's the right email and it's not going into spam. I haven't tried to to chang my network or my another web browser. But I did a test with one of my other accounts and I got the code and I know what I'm looking for.

Dear Jonathan Figel,

Thank you for your reply.

We suggest you try the method of changing your network and browser.

In the meantime, you can try to get the code from another computer or cell phone.

You can also try to get the code at different points of time.

If none of the above methods work.

We are very sorry to bring you a bad experience, please be patient for 30 days.

We also encourage you to share your ideas, suggestions, and feedback with Microsoft through the Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support.

This way, we can be aware and work on the point of improving our service in the future.

Thank you for your time and understanding.
