@hotmail.com account reactivated

Hi there

I no longer can access or receive incoming emails to my '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' email account.   When i was making changes to my account settings, I must have done something incorrectly and my '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' address converted into a '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' email account.  I can't seem to reactivate my hotmail address for some reason.

I've tried syncing my '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' to my new outlook account but it won't prevents me from adding a hotmail account.

All I need to do is access my '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' email account as I have important emails I'm expecting.  

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Yes, correct, 'account does not exist'.  It looks like it's been deactivated so I can't receive emails.

I've tried everything to reactivate it but no luck.

When you login to your 'new outlook account', do you see your old Hotmail emails?

Did you add the new Outlook address as an alias to the Hotmail account.

Did you click Remove by the Hotmail address when trying to make the Outlook.com address the primary alias?

Thanks for replying, really appreciate it.

Yes, I can see all of my old hotmail emails in there.  

I inadvertently made the new '@outlook' email address as the primary email account and removed my '@hotmail.com' account.

Hi Carlos. From what I can tell, you may have set up a new email alias and deleted the primary alias by mistake. Unfortunately, there is no known way to recover a deleted email or account alias.

You only have one account.

You made the new '@outlook' email address as the primary email alias and removed your @hotmail.com alias.

Removing an address is permanent.
