Following up a support ticket

Last week I was hacked and spent a while with a live chat agent, who said it would take around a week to get the account back. I have a support number but have no way of getting back into the live chat to query the progress. Any ideas? Before managing to contact through the chat, I'd tried the regular way to recover the account, but the hackers had changed the backup email and the security questions.
