Can't sign into outlook live- error says "Something went wrong. Try again later."
I use this account for school, and it is very urgent that I access it immediately. When I try to sign in, the page is redirected several times and then an error screen says "Something went wrong. Try again later." This has been going on for over a week
now. I would like to be more specific about the problem I am experiencing, but I have no idea what's going on! I know I have entered the email address and password correctly. What gives?
If you are still experiencing the problem please try the following, it has helped some (but by no means all) users.
Have you tried to access your account using another browser or computer? Does the same issue happen?
First make sure you are using the newest version of your browser. Some older browsers are no longer fully supported like IE 6
I recommend that you clear your browser's cache and temporary internet files to make sure that they are not causing your issue. This is often caused by a corrupted file in the browser. Please clear your browser's cookies
by following the instructions on the link below:
*For Internet Explorer browser: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Delete
*For Google Chrome: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Browsing Data
*For Firefox: Press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL simultaneously and click Clear Now
(other browsers are similar)

I suggest you connect using HTTPS. To do that, follow the steps below: 1. Go to https://account.live.com (if that doesnt work try this link https://www.hotmail.com instead) 2. Under Other options click on Connect with HTTPS 3. Choose Use HTTPS automatically 4. Click on Save
If you are using Safari or are on a Mac drop the "s" in https. If that doesnt work try this method
The Hotmail Engineering team has identified the issue with the Safari 5.0 browser. Hotmail/Outlook doesnt support anything lower than 5.1 The team is working on a solution in a future update. If
you’re able to upgrade your browser, the problem should be resolved. Or, if you’re not able to upgrade, Hotmail recommends using a different browser for Mac, such as Firefox or Chrome. The following
