Account verification - scam?

Hello, I've just received an email in my outlook account saying I need to verify my account by midnight tonight or I will loose everything. The email "from" address is someone's first name followed by three numbers at hotmail. There is a link to click to verify and it shows "canva" as one of the words in the link. Can you please advise me, I'd really appeciate it. Thanks.
