Account Locked

Hi there,

My Microsoft account was locked on like 3/13/2020. When I try login my outlook, it returns

I am a good guy so I followed the instruction, then I submit a request (request no. SIR1057079). In the instruction it reads "A Microsoft customer service representative will then contact you via email within 24 hours to provide a status update", but produced no response till now. Two days later I filled another "account recovery request" (issue no. 38832901), which may not be the proper form for me but in the email it says "i can take up to 24 hours for us to get back to you", same ending. 

I know there is COVID-19, which may cause "some delay", but during these days, as I read the forum, I found people having same problem for months, like

Don't know how they are going. So I am wondering, will there ever be a response? If the information I provided is not enough, they should at least tell me. And there's nowhere to check the status of the ticket... then why bother give me one?

I expose some of my information, just hope you Microsoft staff could help me. I am not so worried about my privacy because if this cannot be solved, these are no longer my properties. Things are in the worst situation, it cannot be worse.

Were you trying to sync your phone to the One Drive thing? The message you received makes it sound like that's what you were doing and if so, then good luck getting your account back. There are LOTS of people with this issue and several other threads on this. I think only a scant few of them have managed to get their accounts back. Everyone else is either still trying after months, or has been told that their accounts were "properly" locked for TOS violations and will not be getting their accounts back, nor will be told exactly what it is they supposedly did which violated TOS.

Hi YiZHAI1,

In these times, I know how frustrating it can be to not have access to your account. If you've already filed a ticket and have gotten no response yet whatsoever, the only other thing I can recommend is to go through the link below, and look for the 'Contact Us' option found at the end of the article.

Thank you Rene, but that does not work. It is just a virtual agent, so virtual that direct you to the right place to ... submit a request. Certainly I can ask to "talk to a human", then the virtual agent will pretend to find me a human, then ... submit a request...

I didn't sync my phone... but I did sync between several laptops and desktops via One Drive. May it be taken as similar behavior? Am I cyber dead already?...

If you have anything on any of your computers which Microsoft might consider offensive, then yes. You should look for the other threads in this forum on the subject and ask around in those threads to see if there's anybody who's had any progress in getting their accounts back. Most people though, have been fighting for MONTHS to no avail. IF they get any response at all, it's been negative.

I believe this is exactly the first request I submit (SIR1057079), which let me not  submit additional requests. Anyway, I re-submitted one, and it produced SIR1101095 in the same series, confirmed my thoughts. But this time the Microsoft staff became more real. They put in the email "We're sorry but we’re currently unable to provide assisted support" and did not promise anything like "24h". That's a great improvement. Almost gave up. Thank you all the same.

Here I have the same problem and, at the moment, it's been three weeks without a reply from Microsoft. I would at least like my money back.

In the same boat and nothing after almost 2 weeks.  What a horror show they have become.  Just sell it already and let someone else run it that knows what they're doing and has a customer service focus.
