Word Starter 2010

Following a windows update (13 September 2013) I have been unable to open any word documents that I created through Word Starter 2010, which came as a free installment on the purchase of my laptop.  When I try to open a saved file I get the following screen.  As this came free with my laptop it does not have a product key so I now cannot open my CV or job applications and need to urgently.  How can this be rectified?
Yes, me too. It is driving me nuts... what has happened Microsoft???

just found this, unfortunately too late for me as i followed the microsoft instructions that have just screwed me so i now have no Office what so ever. worth a look but try it at your own risk

Repairing Office Starter should fix the issue.
