Dear Charbel TheBoss

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Thanks for your feedback, I understand that you are having trouble on verify and sign in to your Microsoft account.

1.Use a Different Verification Method:

If you have an alternative verification method set up, such as a secondary email address or security questions, try using that method instead.

2.Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:

Sometimes, clearing your browser's cache and cookies can resolve these issues. After clearing them, try the verification process again.

Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.

3.Try a Different Browser or Incognito Mode:

There might be an issue with your browser. Try using the Edge browser then opening an incognito/private browsing window and attempt the process again.

4.Check the Phone Number:

Ensure that the phone number you are trying to use isn't already associated with another account. Some services do not allow a phone number to be linked to multiple accounts.

5. Update your account verification method

If you still know the password of your account and can access the account, you can update your security information by logging in to this link: https://account.live.com/proofs/marklost

However, please note that since you no longer have access to your current security information, it will take 30 days for the update to take effect. This is for the security and privacy purposes of the account. The 30 days gives time for the request to be cancelled if it was requested by an unauthorized person instead. You can visit this link for more information about this: “Your security info change is still pending” or “You can’t access this site right now” Microsoft account message - Microsoft Support

After 30 days, your security information will be updated.

If none of the above solves your problem, you may need to fill out an account recovery form.To access the account recovery form, click here: Recover Your Account (live.com) I suggest that you take your time to provide the necessary information, as this is critical to recovering the account.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Dear Charbel TheBoss

Thanks for the quick reply.

I know you want to get some content from Microsoft Rewards, and it really only works with phone authentication.

I found a post that seemed to have the same issue as you, and based on Anton Németh's reply in the post, it contacted Microsoft online support and fixed the issue after waiting for a while.

How to fix the "That verification method isn't working right now. - Microsoft Community

Unfortunately, as a member of the community, I don't have access to your account, so you can contact our account team using the link below.

The following links can be used to contact the account's customer service:

1. Open the website link - Contact - Microsoft Support

2. In the box below "We're here for you," enter the text code that can't be received when adding a phone number to my account, click "Get Instructions," and then click "Contact Customer Support" below.

3. In this section, you will need to register for a personal Microsoft account

Note: You can only sign up with a personal MSA, and company accounts will not display the correct content. If you cannot log in to your account, you can use another account or create a new account.

4. Select "Other Products" in "Products & Services", select "Manage Account Security" as the category, and click Confirm

5. You can select "Chat with a support specialist in a web browser" to enter the chat window.
