Clickable Phone numbers in Word Documents

You can make the phone number clickable in Word by making it a hyperlink. Follow these steps:

1. Highlight the phone number that you want to be clickable.
2. Right-click the phone number.
3. Choose Hyperlink.
4. In the Address text box, type tel://(phone number)/
5. Click OK.

tried your solution and its accepting it and its turning clickable but not working from iPhone or galaxy phones when pressed it does nothing.

my windows is 10 version 1709

We appreciate your response. We’ve tried replicating your concern on an Android phone but it looks like we are not experiencing the same issue. Open the document, double-click the phone number and click Open Link. It should prompt you to dial the number. See the images below:
