Bluetooth Audio driver issue (Avrcp Transport Adaptor ) Windows 10

Hello I just received my HP ENVY Desktop 795-00xx and have noticed that when I connect my Bluetooth speaker to my computer it causes it to freeze every so often and the audio is also out of sync with the media playback. I use this same speaker with my HP ENVY laptop and I have had none of these issues with it. I can see that there is some sort of error with the Adapter which doesn't seem fixable, just wondering if anyone knows if there is anything I can do to address this problem since the Bluetooth speaker is the only way I can really output any audio out of this computer other than headphones which is not very ideal for me.

May I know what version of Windows are you using?

1.    Select the Start  button and then select Settings .

2.    In Settings, select System > About.

See which version of Windows 10 you have.

This is my version of Windows and the Adapter that is not installed correctly. I have updated the Bluetoohth drivers using Windows Update and I have also installed the ones from the manufacturer (HP), but the problem persists.

Thanks in advance,

Carlos

Actually, it looks like I spoke too soon. Though there is less of a delay with the audio. Still experiencing a bit of freezing

My problem is the same as yours, delay and small cuts of sound. I think if that driver was installed correctly, those errors would be solved because I have another Asus PC with Windows 10 Pro that installs that driver correctly and the headphones work perfectly.

Let us try to disable the absolute volume feature via a Registry key edit and check if it works fine.

Registry Key Edit Option:

· Open an administrator privileged command prompt

Select the search box in the taskbar, type cmd, right click to open as admin.

· Enter the following command:

  •  reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Bluetooth\Audio\AVRCP\CT /v DisableAbsoluteVolume /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

I have disabled the absolute volume feature.

I have also unpaired the headphones which uninstalls the drivers that I marked in red.

I have returned to pair the headphones, the AVRCP is still not installed correctly and the problem with the sound persists.

Thanks,

Carlos
