How do I know when a Skype contact comes online?

Available on Skype for Windows desktop, Skype for Mac, Skype for Linux, Skype for Windows 10 and Skype for Web.

Once you have updated to the latest version of Skype, you can choose to receive a notification on desktop when anyone in your contact list goes from offline to available.  The notification appears as a small pop-up window in the bottom right corner of your screen – just click the alert to start a chat with that person.

This setting is off by default. To turn it on, click your profile picture > Settings > Notifications > contact comes online notification.

Hi guys I cant find the correct place to ask this. When I see a contact with "Away-Yellow" sign, I see it blink with "Green" color sometimes. But it remains to be Yellow anyway. Why does it blink in green?

I would like to know where on skype I can make the font size bigger as I don't see any where on skype to enlarge the print size when typing on there to a friend. Thank you Marie Diehl

Are you using iphone or android? Either one you have to change font sizes on your phone settings not on skype app

The Skype notification is shown on the top of my screen (Mac Book). How can I change the chatting notification to bottom.
