Excel 2016 Out of memory error

I've been trying to work on an excel spreadsheet and keep having issues. See the error below, I've tried restarting my computer and still have the same issue. Any ideas?

Hi Fabian,

 

You may update Office to the latest version and check if the issue persists.

Go to Help in the menu>Check for Updates>Automatically download and install>click Check for Updates

If above doesn’t help, please provide the following information for troubleshooting:

1.Does the issue happen to a specific Excel workbook or all workbooks?

2.Mac version. (Apple icon>about this Mac)
