Favorites no longer showing under favorites in navigation pane

Folders that I tag as favorites no longer show up in the navigation pane under favorites. If I click on the favorites link they show up in the main screen. This is only on my laptop. It works fine on the desktop. Not sure what I have done wrong. But I would like the option to select favorites directly from the navigation pane.

which favorites do you mean?

Do you mean favorites in outlook or Internet explorer

 

type the website in search and then select favourites and then select add, it will add it to favourites.
