Hi,
Last used my xbox Friday 9th of November, go to use it today and am given the following message:
A system update is available from Xbox LIVE. If you decline, you won't be able to connect to Xbox LIVE until you take the update. VIsist www.wbox.xom/update for more info.
Do you want to apply the update now?
Naturally I click 'Yes'.
The following message comes up:
You don't have enought storage space to take this update. Please connect an Xbox 360 stroage device with at least 190 MB free space.
For more info, visist www.xbox.com/storage.
NB - a reassuring sign is that this web address does not even work.
I then cancel this and head to Settings >> System >>Storage to free up some space. However the only option on the next screen is the HDD icon with 'Unformatted' next to it - no other devices in the 'Storage Devices' list.
Choosing this option I am then presented with the opportunity to format the drive.
Can someone tell me what has caused this and what my options are in terms of recovery (if any)?
I assume this means that all of my saves will be gone but what about:
1) My games purchased via Xbox Live
2) My progress on the online versions of my games.
Thanks
