Hi, i have a problem while i try to install Microsoft XNA Framework 4.0, while the installer is copying files this error appears

Error writing to file:

When i click Retry the same error pop ups over and over and over, when i click cancel everything goes back and window appears and says
Windows XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0 Setup Wizard ended prematurely

Hi,

Hi,

To help with installation and uninstalling issues in Windows, I would suggest you running the fixit at the following link and see if that helps:

Fix problems with programs that can't be installed or uninstalled

http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us

However, if this does not help, you will have to post the query in the MSDN forums as I suggested in my earlier reply.

We're sorry but the program encountered an error and can not continue.
Please try again later.

And I cant join MSDN because im not old enough.

Hi,

You may follow these suggestions:

Method 1:

You may restart computer in clean boot and check if any third application is causing issue. Follow “step 1” in the link to enable to clean boot:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Follow step 7 from the article to “Reset the computer to start as usual”, after performing the clean boot troubleshooting.

Method 2:

You may create new user account and check if the issue occurs. Follow the steps in the link:

“Create a user account”

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Create-a-user-account

Also follow the steps suggested by john rubdy in the link and check if the issue occurs:
