emails with "Código de seguridad de la cuenta Microsoft‏"

Hi

I am constantly receiving emails in Spanish to reset password (upto 10 in one day).

Is this correct, or is it a scam?

Should I be using this to reset my password?

Thanks

Answer

Without being able to see the email concerned it is difficult to give a definitive answer.

FYI

Microsoft usually have a Green shield on the sender's name.

This indicates that the email is coming from a legit sender.

1. If  you wish to reset your password refer > I need to reset my password

2. Please be aware that security with Outlook.com is being tightened...

Two step verification is a method that Microsoft is encouraging to make it more difficult for hackers to gain access to your account.  It is highly recommended.
