Hi,Yesterday, I tried to access my OneDrive desktop app, and suddenly the shared folders became links to the web version of OneDrive instead of being available locally. I have been working this way for the past three years, and without any change on my part, they turned into links.I have tried to remove the app and disconnect it a few times, but nothing helps. I couldn't find any guide or solution to my issue. This situation is preventing me from working efficiently.Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?Thank you, Nadav.

Recently Microsoft switched the method of activating software. Previously, a user would enter their Microsoft Account user name, then their password to activate Office after installation. The new process is that you enter your email address, then Microsoft prompts you for the email address they want you to use and sends a validation code to that address.This new process does not work with Office 2016 or 2019 for Mac. After you enter your email address, you get a blank dialog and can never get any further. You can't even quit unless you click on Back to exit the process. I'll post screen shots

When I click the OneNote icon, it creates a new notebook in a small window instead of opening the program. Is this a design update? I'm sure the previous behavior was not like this.

Bought Office Home 2024 as one time package from Staples Canada, downloaded software from office.com/setup. Upon install found out Office 2024 need OS 13. Now need 2019 version. Or can I make the one I bought (Office 2024) install on my iMac running OS 10.15.7? My iMac too old to upgrade to newer OS.

I have imported Christmas fonts - Christmas flake and Christmas star - from Dafont. They are available in the Word fonts ribbon and in the Windows Control panel but cannot be transferred to Powerpoint. How do I do that? I have reinstalled them with PPT open, closed and restarted and computer booted as well but nothing happens.

I am in a constant loop, I have no way to access my account even when I try to reset the Authenticator app it asks for a code that I never receive. There is no option to speak to support and no way to access by the looks of things. I had to log into a personal account just to log this query!

I've tried to set up my personal account on Authenticator to no avail. I can't get the account into Authenticator. If I try to sign in to my personal MS account, it gives me a code for Authenticator but the Popup to enter the code does not appear.

Hello! Desperately need some help! I am using excel Power Query to merge several financial documents together in order to show me what we applied vs what was paid towards an account balance. The documents are merged based on unique ID numbers and names. I am having an issue where the merge is taking the applied dollar amount based on the date of service and applying it twice to the same balance even if the second payment applied is $0 and is falsely inflating the applied total collections. It creates a loop. I don't have an authenticator code, so I ask to sign in another way, and it asks me for the exact same thing! I have called support and that process has completely hung up on me 3 times now. Can ANYONE help me get access to my account? As the admin, the other person on the account isn't able to help, I don't think.

We just installed Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Business for Mac on my wife's MacBook. Because the license is under my MS account, we had to use my account to install and activate Office.The Word sign-in offers an option to sign in via another Microsoft account. After I sign out, it will not allow us to sign in using my wife's Microsoft account, even though we pick the "use a different account" option. She has no trouble signing into her MS account via a web browser.How can we get Word (and hence the rest of Office) signed into her MS account?Note that this license has never been installed

I have a user that routinely has issues where files uploaded to Sharepoint Sites just hang and don't upload.They are small text files, pdfs, or export from Outlook (.msg files). I have multiple small spreadsheets that all have the same format and the same 3 sheets. "Stories" "2024" and "2025". In the two sheets 2024 and 2025 they reference data in the "Stories" sheet in multiple ways. One example is "=COUNTIFS(Stories!A:A,B1)". The sheets within a workbook must always reference their own sheet named "Stories" From the master workbook I try to copy the 2025 worksheet into each of the small workbooks, Region1, Region2, Region3, and so on. I've run into multiple problems with the form overall. The first being there is no share button at the top. The second issue is I'm unsure which link is the correct one. I've shared the QR code and at least 3 separate links and only one is working. Finally, the one link that did work allowed people to fill in the form but the submit button remained greyed out. I didn't do anything to stop Designer from working. Before the failure it had been working since I installed Office way back. On the day it failed, it worked in the morning long enough to setup some PowerPoint slides to my liking and then later in the morning it just stopped working. The issue is affecting Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers using different Office365 accounts.
