Office 365 Word Text Box

Hi,

I've only been using this version of word for a day or 2 so still finding my way around. I've inserted a text box over a picture and want the box itself to be 'clear' so just the text is visible over the picture. Is this possible?

thank you,

Kate

If you right-click inside the text box, you'll get a context menu offering text formatting tools. If you right-click on the border of the text box, you get text box formatting tools.

Right Click the text box. Set the Wrap to 'In front of text'.

Right Click > Format Shape > Fill > No Fill will clear the background.

If you are going to do a lot of such annotations, you should take a look at SnagIt, which is brilliant at this sort of thing (see the many examples of its use on my web site).
