  • In a previous life, I was a Latin teacher (four years, before getting an M.A. in Classics). Since 1975, however, I have been self-employed as a typist, copy editor, word processor, and typesetter. I am also the executive secretary of the Rotary Club of Fairhope (bulletin editor since 1995) and program chairman (since 1994) of the Tuesday Book Review & Lecture Series of the Fairhope Public Library. I have been a Microsoft MVP for Word since 1999.
