I have Windows 8.1, Office 365 Home, with MS Word 2013. If I try to use the pleading paper template, the numbering and lines along the left side of the paper do not show in Print View, do not print, and do not convert to pdf. How can I get the legal
pleading template to actually work?
At File | Options | Advanced: Show document content, make sure that "Show drawings and text boxes on screen" is checked.
At File | Options | Display: Printing options, make sure that "Print drawings created in Word" is checked.
If the lines and numbering are (as is the case with most pleading templates) anchored to the page header, they will not be displayed if you have "white space between pages" hidden.
If the lines and numbering are created as a "page background," they won't be displayed unless you have "Show background colors and images" checked at
