Word 2013: Save to desktop directly without clicking on 'browse'

Anytime I hit 'ctrl-s' it brings me to the 'save as' screen. I then have to click 'browse' and pick a save location. As I am not interested in skydrive at the moment, this means every time I save something I am forced to do the extra click (by clicking the browse).

I know this is such a minor issue, but its such a senseless waste of time (always doing the extra click) it has been bugging me more and more recently.

How can I setup Word 2013 to bypass this screen?

Answer
Answer
Go to File | Options | Save and check the box for "Don't show the Backstage when opening or saving files." Check the box for "Save to Computer by default." But note that the Desktop will not be the default save location unless you have so specified it as "Default file location" on that Options tab, and do realize that saving to the Desktop is not recommended. If by "desktop" you just mean your desktop PC (My Documents), then you should be okay.
