"Select Browse Object" (Alt+Ctrl+Home) on the vertical scroll bar in "Word 2013"

Hi

How do I activate a "Select Browse Object" (Alt+Ctrl+Home) on the vertical scroll bar in "Word 2013"

Thank you

Sorry, it's gone. As a workaround, press Ctrl + G to open the Find and Replace>Go To dialog, select a object type on the left and a number in the right field.

The loss of the Browse function is one of many reasons I will never use Word 2013 as my primary word processor. There are, however, some (inadequate) workarounds. John has mentioned one. Another is the dropdown list in the "Search document" box on the Navigation pane, which lists Graphics, Tables, Equations, Footnotes/Endnotes, and Comments. If you switch to Headings in the Navigation pane, you get a list (even more useful than the Browse facility), and you can use F11 to go to the next field, so the only Browse Object really missing is Section. While you can go to a specific section using Ctrl+G, this is nowhere near as convenient as just clicking the arrow buttons. We could wish that MS would have enough sense to restore this functionality in Word 2016, but I'm not holding my breath.

The latter article offers several macro/QAT solutions. I notice that somewhere in there it is stated that Table is not an available search object; this is incorrect: there is no code to search for tables, but Tables is in the dropdown list in the Navigation pane.
