Is there any way to update the APA citations for Office 2013 to APA 7th edition?

Currently Office 2013 is using APA 6th edition, and there are a few significant changes in the reference page between the 6th and 7th editions so when making a references page, we are forced to manually update it, or convert it to static text and then make the appropriate changes.

Is there any way to fix this currently, or is there an APA 7th edition patch coming?

Thanks
I am sure there is a way. You are free to do it and send it to Microsoft to go on the web site.

This is a user-to-user peer support site so requests made to Microsoft on this site are seldom noticed.

The bibliography styles can be extended and/or modified. A resource to help you can be found here http://bibword.codeplex.com/releases/view/15852

I just had a look and it appears that there isn't an APA 7th Edition already created there although there is an APA with DOI which may be the same thing.

If you can't find the right APA version there then 'in theory' you could create your own.

MS does not place any priority on updating these biblio style issues. You should find your own solution because it will likely be a LONG time before MS issues an update.

BibWord sounds like a good possibility since it is open, it allows users to make customizations.

I can't find any indication that the APA has published a style manual later than the sixth edition (there is a seventh edition of the MLA manual, and MLA 7th edition is available in Word). Can you point me to a site where the 7th edition is available?
