Different Users-Different # of Pages

I created a one page document in Word 2013 (Windows 7). Every time I open it, it's one page. When a coworker opens it, it's two pages. I have searched, but cannot find an explanation. I saved it as a PDF, and the PDF opens as a one-page document for her.

Any idea why the number of pages changes? I have no section breaks in the document.

Does your document have a very small bottom margin? If so, and if your coworker has a printer with a larger non-printable area at the bottom of the page, that might explain the difference. Or if you have a different default paper size.

When you mentioned the printer, I thought that might be the problem because we have multiple network printers we can use. However, we both default to the same network printer and have the same default settings. We both have the standard US paper size - 8.5 x 11 too.

A difference in operating system would dictate a different printer driver, which could still explain the discrepancy.
