Custom Office background theme?

Is there a way for me to add custom images or themes to the office background? I'm not talking about the white, light gray, or gray colors, but the themes like lunchbox, circuits, clouds, etc. I'm tired of staring at the gray border because honestly, it's a bit dull and by adding a custom background, it would definitely spruce things up.
When you have such a background as the active document, click on the Themes dropdown on the Design tab of the ribbon and then click on the Save Current Theme ... item at the bottom of the list.  That will create a Custom Theme that will appear as such at the top of the Themes gallery.
Hope this helps,

I believe the OP is referring to the Office "skin" rather than a document theme. These are selected at File | Options | General: Office Background. I personally can't understand why anyone would want to use any of them, as they get in the way and obscure the Ribbon.

@Suzanne: With respect, the OP didn't ask what you thought of them, he asked how to make a custom one. Perchance do you know, or do you not?

You will note that I was not replying to the OP but to Doug Robbins, whose reply indicated that he didn't know what the OP was talking about. In any case, this all happened ten months ago. As far as I know, there is no way to create a custom background.

Point taken about your comment being a reply to a previous comment .. however, .. I don't see the need for "this all happened ten months ago" ... do you think this question irrelevant because of that? Ten months is not a long time.

Besides, the backgrounds don't appear to obscure the ribbon at all, in fact they seem to run behind it. They can, however, obscure the min/resize/close buttons.

Thanks for actually answering the question.

No, I don't think a follow-up question after ten months is out of line, but I do think criticism of my reply as nonresponsive is unnecessary. The OP did not come back to respond in any way, so we have no way of knowing whether s/he was satisfied with the replies received.
