On the Home tab, in the Font group, there are two drop-down list boxes, one for the font name and one for the font size (by default they will show Calibri and 11). If you want a font size that is not listed, you can type it into the box and press Enter.
Even if you don't have the Home tab displayed, when you select text, you should get the Mini Toolbar, which also has a font size control. Or you can right-click and choose Font to select a size from the Font dialog. Or you can open the Font dialog with Ctrl+D.
